No one is hurt following a Thursday fire at a Hazard apartment complex near Roy G. Eversole Elementary School. Hazard Fire Chief Robert Keith says four people lived in the apartment building and while everyone got out safely, the bottom floor is uninhabitable and the Red Cross is helping out. The cause is still under investigation. Meanwhile Eversole’s School Resource Officer Barry Engle told WYMT he heard what sounded like a small explosion and so had school officials evacuate the kids to the gym
