Three men currently in jail in Perry County are facing more charges for allegedly stealing some jail keys. Court documents cited by Mountain Top News say while at the courthouse, inmate Steven Combs of Hazard was seen on camera taking the courthouse holding cell keys and hiding them in his pants. He allegedly admitted to officers he gave some keys to inmates Byron Combs of Hazard and Kenneth Colwell of Yerkes. Three of the four keys were recovered with Colwell claiming he flushed one. All three are charged with second-degree escape and receiving stolen property
