A Floyd County man is facing charges for trafficking fentanyl. Police were doing a roadblock last Thursday on Mountain Parkway in Magoffin County when a driver was pulled over for not having a license plate, but Mountain Top News reports it was the passenger that got their attention, reportedly reaching for something in his waistband and trying to keep his back to the officers. Police alleged Chad Wallen had 75 grams of fentanyl plus $700 in cash. He is charged with aggravated fentanyl trafficking.
