Whitesburg’s Harry M. Caudill Library may be hiring a new person to staff the genealogy room. At their last meeting the Board of Trustees agreed in principle to hire a new employee to staff the genealogy room and provide some circulation services. The Mountain Eagle reports after reviewing the financials, the Board decided they were in a good position to hire at least a part time person and maybe full time. They first have to create the job description but can steer it toward having a background in genealogy.
