A Floyd County man is reportedly facing charges for assaulting a deputy and a police dog. Mountain Top News reports deputies were serving a warrant for Jacob Estep at his home in David. They allege that he ran into the basement and refused to show his hands and then allegedly punched the department’s K9 in the face twice and allegedly then punched a deputy. At that point the K9 reportedly bit Estep arm and the deputies tased him and they were able to get him into custody.
