Starbucks has officially opened in Harlan’s Food City store. On Monday store staff and local government officials held a ribbon-cutting for the coffee shop inside the store, which is the seventh one for Food City in Eastern Kentucky. President and CEO Steve Smith tells WYMT they created more than 20 jobs by adding the Starbucks to the store and he says customers have been waiting a long time for the convenience of it.
