The Cincinnati Reds had a big record setting night from Elly De LA Cruz and beat the Milwaukee Brewers 10-8 in the first of a 4 game series at Great American Ball Park.
De La Cruz hit 2 home runs, one from each side of the plate. One was a 450 foot towering blast and the other was his first inside the park home run. He also scored 4 runs and stole a base.
He’s the first player in MLB history to do all that in one game.
The Reds are now 6-4, 2.5 games back of the Pirates and 1/2 game behind the Brewers in the NL Central.
Game time for Reds-Brewers game 2 of 4 tonight is at 6:40pm with pregame at 6:10 this evening on Real Country 95.1 WTCW.
