Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman has paid a visit to Harlan County. On Thursday Coleman took a tour of Portal 31 in Lynch and then hit up the Bulldog Room before attending the grand opening of the Sunshine Volunteer Fire Department. WYMT reports firefighters have been using the building since October but Assistant Fire Chief Ashley Hatfield said having the ribbon cutting with the Lieutenant Governor helped to make it feel official. The fire department received some state funding for the station.
