While no charges have been filed so far in the homicide of a Prestonsburg woman last summer, her estate has filed a lawsuit against multiple people and entities they allege are connected to her death.
Kentucky State Police are still investigating the death of Amber Spradlin who they say died of multiple stab wounds following a party June 18 2023.
Mountain Top News reports her estate has filed a civil complaint alleging negligence, wrongful death, evidence tampering, obstruction of justice and other claims against the City of Prestonsburg, Prestonsburg Police and it’s former Chief Randy Woods, former Mayor Les Stapleton, the Floyd County Fiscal Court, Judge-Executive Robbie Williams, Magistrates Mark Crider and George Ousley, and the owner of the home where she died, Dr. Michael McKinney, his son, and others.
