Bryan Reynolds hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning and the Pittsburgh Pirates edged the Cincinnati Reds 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Pirates took two of three from Cincinnati and the Reds went 2-4 on the 6 game road trip, losing 4 of their last 5 games.
They are now 35-39, ?? games back of the Brewers, in last place, in the NL Central.
The Reds are off today and will play the Boston Red Sox in a 3 game inter league series this weekend at GABP.
