The Letcher County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a man and woman on a motorcycle who evaded a deputy and dropped a backpack containing drugs and a gun.
Sheriff Mickey Stines says on Wednesday Deputy James Norris was unable to stop the
man driving the motorcycle but watched as the woman riding with him dropped the
backpack she was wearing.
Stines says the backpack contained over half a pound of meth and a handgun.
And they apparently ditched the motorcycle at some point but the Sheriff’s Office now has that in their possession.
