The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man wanted for a Monday morning murder in McDowell.
Kentucky State Police investigators say there was a physical altercation between Michael Colley of Louisville and Patrick Shepherd of McDowell which resulted in Shepherd’s death.
KSP says Colley left the scene before first responders arrived and Monday morning they put out an alert asking the public to look out for him.
But last night the Sheriff’s Office announced they had Colley in custody.
