Reds Score 7 Runs in the 10th to Beat Miami Thursday Night

TJ Friedl homered and drove in three and Elly De La Cruz had three hits and stole his major league-leading 59th base during a seven-run 10th inning as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Miami Marlins 10-4 on Thursday night.

The Reds took 3 of 4 games against the Marlins. 

Plate umpire Bill Miller ejected Reds Manager David Bell for arguing balls and strikes in the seventh. It was Bell’s 31st career ejection, surpassing Sparky Anderson for most in club history.

The Reds are now 56-59, still 9.5 games behind the Milwaukee Brewers in the NL central and 5 games out of the National League wild card race.  

The Reds will head to Milwaukee to face the NL central leading Brewers in a big 3 game weekend series starting tonight. 

Game time tonight is at 8:10pm, Saturday at 7:10pm and Sunday afternoon at 2:10pm.

The Reds return home Monday for a 6 game home stand against the Cardinals and Royals.
