Reds Fall to A’s For Third Loss In A Row

Seth Brown hit a pair of home runs, including a go-ahead three-run shot in the eighth, and the Oakland Athletics beat the Cincinnati Reds 9-6 last night at GABP. 

The Reds have lost 3 in a row and 9 of their last 12 games.  They are now 63-70, 13.5 games behind the Brewers in the NL Central and now 10 games back in the NL Wild Card race.  

The Reds will try to avoid the sweep by the A’s this afternoon in game of their series.  It’s a special airtime of 5:10pm with pregame at 4:40pm. 

The will play the NL central leading Milwaukee Brewers with a 4 game series over 3 days this weekend.

Tomorrow Friday will be a day night doubleheader for the Reds and Brewers.

Game one is at 12:40pm.  Game two Friday will be at 6:40pm.
