There is no school today in Perry County with officials saying a Wednesday lockdown at the school led to a very stressful afternoon for students and employees.
Hazard Police are investigating the incident in which a car was hit by a bullet on KY-15 Exit 59 at Hal Rogers Parkway.
With many communities on edge in the wake of the weekend shootings along I-75 in Laurel County, for which the suspect is still at large, Perry County Schools officials locked down the nearby schools.
