A former Pikeville resident has just published a new book and will be having a book signing and meet-and-greet on Friday.
Cheryl Lynn Betz is the author of three devotional books called “Lord, It’s Time for Just You and Me.” She will have copies of each volume including her new “Volume 3” at the signing on Friday from 10am to 2pm at the FaithLife Market on Division Street.
Betz her husband lived in Pikeville for 19 years when he was associate dean at the University of Pikeville’s Kentucky College of Medicine. She tells the Appalachian News Express her new book draws on memories of her time in Kentucky and other places she’s lived.
