The preseason AP top 25 college basketball poll came out Monday.
The Kentucky Wildcats under first coach Mark Pope are picked to start the year at #23.
Kansas is ranked #1 followed by Alabama, UConn, Houston, and Iowa State.
Kentucky is one of nine SEC teams in the Top 25.
The Cats tip off the 2024-25 season Monday November 4th vs. Wright State at Rupp Arena.
