Governor Andy Beshear has announced an expansion of the commonwealth’s workforce training mission with nearly 9,000 Kentuckians set to get skills training thanks to support provided from the Bluegrass State Skills Corp which oversees programs attached to the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development to help private-sector businesses with industry-specific training.
The program is spread across the state with this batch including dozens of trainees at Progress Rail Services Corp. in Corbin.
