In a game worth staying up late for, the #19 Kentucky Wildcats came back from nine down at halftime to beat #6 Duke 77-72 last night at the Champions Classic in Atlanta.
Otega Oweh finished with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. His play in the final minutes sealed the game for UK.
Andrew Carr had a huge game with 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Nine of his points came in the second half.
Amari Williams rounded out UK’s double-digit scorers with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Cooper Flagg, the 17-year-old freshman, led Duke with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
The now 3-0 Cats will return to action this Tuesday against Lipscomb at Rupp Arena with tip-off at 7:00pm.
