#5 Cats Start Hot, Hold Off Colgate for Another Win

The #5 Kentucky Wildcats improved to 9-1 after holding off Colgate to get the win last night at Rupp Arena, 78-67.

Kentucky jumped out 17-0 before Colgate closed it to a 38-36 game at halftime.

Colgate led a couple of times early in the second half before Kentucky got hot from the 3 point line to pull out the win.

Koby Brea led Kentucky with 17 points on 5-3’s, Otega Oweh and Amari Williams put in 15 each, it was 11 points and 10 boards for Andrew Carr and Jaxson Robinson. Harlan County’s Trent Noah played 11 minutes and hit a 3.

The cats will next take on Louisville this Saturday at Rupp Arena with a tipoff time of 5:15pm. Pregame begins at 3:30pm here on the Bulldog.
