Margaret Rose Eldridge

Margaret Rose Eldridge, age 73, of Mayking, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center.

She is survived by 2 sons: Terrence Everly Jr. of South Carolina and Christopher Everly of Mayking; 1 daughter: Marjorie Mullins of Mayking; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Margaret Rose Eldridge will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the New Freedom Worship Center at Jenkins with Danny Quillen and others officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 10:00pm Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the New Freedom Worship Center.

Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery at McRoberts.

The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Nicholas Hiram Mitchell

Nicholas Hiram Mitchell, age 39, of Kingscreek, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Whitesburg ARH.

He is survived by his mother: Tammy Mitchell of Kingscreek and 1 sister: Robin Combs of Kingscreek; 2 neices Kenlee Harvey of Kingscreek and Regan Pack of Whitesburg. 3 nephews, Peyton Harvey of Cowan, Peyton Pierce of Georgetown KY and Phillip Pierce of Georgetown Ky. Two great nieces, Holland Stumbo and Theodora Thomas. Two great nephews, Frankie Harvey and Watson Stamper.

Funeral services for Nicholas Hiram Mitchell will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Kingscreek Community Church with Jimmy Dotson and Roger Fields officiating.

Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Cowan.

Dora Lea Duncan

Dora Lea Duncan, age 80, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Whitesburg ARH.

She is survived by her children Rozetta Adams of Jenkins, Donnie Duncan of Portland, OR, Novella Sexton of Neon, and Vernon Duncan of Cleveland, TN; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Roy Cantrell, Auldin Cantrell, and Mike Cantrell; 2 sisters: Zetta Stein and Novella Brewer; and a special friend: Roy Dell Taylor.

There will not be a funeral service for Dora Lea Duncan at this time.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
