Kentucky Moves Up to #4 After Win Over Louisville

The Kentucky Wildcat men’s team moved up one spot in this week’s new AP Top 25 poll.

The Cats are now ranked #4.

They won’t play again until Saturday when they face Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Tipoff is set for 5:30pm. Pregame begins at 4:00pm Saturday here on the Bulldog.

Tenneesee remains ranked #1 in the latest poll, followed by Auburn at #2, Iowa State is 3, Kentucky 4 and Duke #4

Kentucky is now 10-1, the best start since the 2016-17 season.

On Monday afternoon, the SEC announced that Lamont Butler has been named the league’s Co-Player of the Week for his 33-point game in Kentucky’s 93-85 win over Louisville this past Saturday.

He shares the honor with Auburn’s Johni Broome, who went for 21 points and 20 rebounds in a win over Ohio State.
