Letcher County Central boys and girls picked up 53rd district wins over Cordia in a doubleheader at LCC last night.
The LCC girls improved to 5-1 with their win and they have won 5 in a row after beating Cordia 88-22 last night.
The LCC Cougar boys won over Cordia in the second game last night 85-43.
With the win, the Cougars boys improve to 2-3 on the season.
The LCC boys and girls basketball will also play another 53rd District doubleheader tonight. This time against Knott County Central at the Morton Combs Athletic Complex in Hindman.
