Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear will be speaking at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland this month and is also expected to meet with business leaders in Spain, using both opportunities to promote business investment and job-creation in Kentucky.
Governor Beshear was invited to speak at the World Economic Forum’s 2025 Annual
Meeting where he says he plans to tout his “New Kentucky Home” initiative, highlighting
Kentucky’s record economic momentum, and its place as a national leader in the
manufacturing, automotive, electric vehicle and battery sectors.
The Governor’s Office says Kentucky’s extensive international presence currently includes nearly 540 foreign-owned facilities that employ 116,000 Kentuckians.
