Arrests Made After Speeding Stop by Police in Pike County

Two people are facing fentanyl trafficking charges after a driver was stopped for speeding in Pike County.

Kentucky State Police say on Monday they pulled over Adam Baker of Draffin for allegedly speeding and some other traffic violations on Route 195 at Marrowbone.

The trooper claims he smelled pot and further investigation revealed Baker’s passenger Briana Owens of Grundy allegedly had a bag of fentanyl on her.

A full search of the car then allegedly turned up several more bags of fentanyl in the trunk.
