Floyd County Man Pleads Guilty to Threatening FBI Agent

It could be about two years in prison for a Floyd County man who pleaded guilty to threatening an FBI agent at the agent’s home in Pike County.

Last month Gabriel Howell of Harold pleaded guilty to a charge of retaliating against a federal official by threat for the incident that happened in December of 2023.

The Appalachian New Express reports Howell smashed the agent’s mailbox and left a threatening note attached to a metal pipe.

Howell is in the Pike County Detention Center. He’ll be sentenced in May.
