US Representative Hal Rogers says top officials from FEMA are expected in Kentucky this week to tour damage and expedite help to beleaguered communities.
On Friday Rogers spoke to our sister station WSIP in Paintsville and said he has been working the phones and sending letters to get assistance flowing into Eastern Kentucky.
He asked FEMA to move quickly in their response and he urged the President to declare a Major Disaster Declaration which would make individuals eligible for money for repairs.
