Governor Andy Beshear says Floyd County has been added to the list of counties approved by President Trump for Public and Individual Assistance from FEMA for the recent flooding.
As we reported yesterday President Trump approved the Governor’s request for an Expedited Major Disaster Declaration which includes not only public assistance for local governments but also individual assistance for Kentuckians in the affected counties which include Letcher, Harlan, Perry, Pike and now Floyd plus others.
Residents and business owners can begin applying now for assistance at the website
