Wednesday was a record-breaking day at the Letcher County Food Pantry.
Katie Jeane Caudill says they served nearly 130 families – more than 5 times the number of families they usually serve.
She says with their double shipment from God’s Pantry, and the community’s generous donations, every single bit of donated food was gone within the first 2 hours of operation.
They are scheduled to be open again today and Friday from 10am-1pm but Caudill says they urgently need more food donations.
Check our Facebook Page 1039 The Bulldog WXKQ for how to donate or use the Pantry.
