Amber Spradlin murder case Hearing Delayed After Judge Injury

The next hearing in the Amber Spradlin murder case has been delayed again after the judge in the case was injured in a fall.

An order filed in the case on Monday explained that Special Judge Eddy Coleman would require surgery, which was scheduled for yesterday.

The hearing has now been postponed to April 23rd at 10am in Pike Circuit Court.

Spradlin was found dead in June of 2023 inside the home of prominent Prestonsburg dentist Dr. Michael McKinney.
