Appalshop Executive Director Alex Gibson says he will be leaving later this year. Gibson has been at the helm for 10 years, not just creating multiple award-winning films but also setting up their endowment so they can stay financially secure. WYMT reports the board of directors will soon name an interim executive director after which they will begin what they call a comprehensive search to fill the job
