Bond has been set at $100,000 for a Floyd County man arrested in connection with some alleged car-to-car shootings on US 23 near Bull Creek on August 1.
WYMT reports 19-year-old Westin Harris was arraigned Monday on four counts each of
complicity to wanton endangerment and complicity to criminal mischief with the initial
investigation indicating Harris was driving while a 17-year-old was shooting at cars.
His attorney has asked for his bond to be reduced but the Commonwealth’s Attorney has
opposed that, saying new evidence suggests Harris may have also fired shots which
could add more charges, possibly even attempted murder.
No one was reported to have been hurt.
