In the boys 14th Region Tournament championship game last night at the Morton Combs Athletic Complex at Knott County Central it was another great game as Breathitt County got by Hazard 61-59.
Breathitt County boys win the region for the second time in three years and the first time under coach Jeff Honeycutt.

Breathitt County will move on the Boys Sweet 16 State Tournament in a couple of weeks when they will face 13th Region champion North Laurel on Thursday March 26 at 11:00am.
The boys 15th Region Tournament championship game is tonight at Pike County Central when Lawrence County takes on Martin County at 7:00pm.
The boys sweet 16 State Tournament won’t be played until March 26-29 due to NCAA Tournament games next weekend at Rupp Arena.
