Brush Fire in Knox County 90% Contained, Arson Suspected

A huge brush fire still burning in Knox County was said to be the result of arson.

Knox County Emergency Management says evidence shows the fire that started Saturday night around 7pm in the area of KY-1232 at Gilliam Hill was started by some people burning car tires.

They say these people have not yet been found or identified, but they will be charged with arson once they are.

The fire is now more than 90% contained but you are asked to avoid the area as there are still a lot of fire crews on scene.
