Career Night for Strack Sends Kentucky Women to SEC Quarterfinals

Clara Strack tied her career high with 33 points, made a career-high five three-pointers, grabbed eight rebounds, blocked three shots, had two assists and a steal as #17 Kentucky beat Georgia 76-61 in the women’s SEC Tournament on Thursday.

It was second-highest points total by a UK player in the women’s SEC Tournament, behind only the legendary Valarie Still, who scored 34 in 1982.

Teonni Key had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds for UK, while Tonie Morgan had 14 points and seven assists.

The #9 seed Kentucky women now advance to today’s quarterfinals, where the Cats will face top-seeded South Carolina.
