Carr Creek Lake’s 45th annual lake cleanup is set for Saturday April 27. Volunteers will gather at Carr Creek Marina at 8:00a.m for trash bag and glove distribution and the cleanup goes until Noon. The Corps of Engineers says one dollar will be paid for each bag of trash collected as well as for larger items such as tires and barrels. A ticket will be issued for each bag of trash collected to be entered in a prize raffle following the event. And a free lunch will be served to all volunteers following the event.
