The Wise County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman in the Rock Switch area on Monday.
Deputies were called out for a welfare check and were searching for Shelly Collene Hamilton when they found her body.
An autopsy is being done to determine how exactly she died.
The Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating all aspects surrounding her death and anyone with information is encouraged to contact them, but they have so far not given any indication of foul play.
