An escaped Floyd County inmate has been captured in West Virginia.
The Floyd County Sheriff says Thomas Price escaped custody while getting medical treatment at Highlands Regional ARH but his inmate jumpsuit was found at the home of a woman
friend and police put a trace on her car.
They also accessed his social media and learned he’d bought a prepaid phone card which they were able to ping and track to West Virginia.
He and the female accomplice were captured and are expected to be extradited back to Kentucky in the coming days.
