The family of a Prestonsburg woman murdered six months ago says they remain in continuous contact with investigators but are anxious that the case is still unsolved. Amber Spradlin was found dead in June at a home near Prestonsburg. The Floyd County Commonwealth’s Attorney has previously said that Kentucky State Police are going through a lot of evidence and forensic testing including several electronic devices. Spradlin’s aunt tells WYMT the family has full trust in the direction of the investigation. She says it has been difficult to face Christmas because Amber loved it so much.
