There’s been a coal mining death in West Virginia.
Officials say 33-year-old Ashley Cogar passed away this week from injuries that came from an incident earlier this month at the Wyco Surface Mine in Raleigh County.
The incident is still under investigation by the West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety, and Training but the initial response indicated it involved part of the power haulage system.
