An architect will reportedly be hired by the Pike County Fiscal Court to rebuild the Greasy Creek Community Center which burned down July 4 in what police and fire investigators suspect was arson.
The fire is still under investigation by Kentucky State Police and the State Fire Marshal.
The Appalachian News Express reports the Fiscal Court is looking at replacing the wooden building with a metal building which they think will cost less to build as well as to maintain and be easier to make ADA compliant.
