The Glory Road doubleheader was played last night in Fleming Neon as the Roy T. Reasor gym was inducted into the KY High School Sports Hall of Fame.
During the evening, there were lots of former players, coaches and teams spotlighted and introduced with a mini homecoming held for former students and student-athletes of Fleming Neon High School.
The Letcher County Central boys and girls wore the uniforms of the Fleming Neon Pirates and Lady Pirates as they took on the Jenkins Cavaliers in a doubleheader at the Fleming Neon gym.
In the girls game, Fleming Neon or LCC won over Jenkins 86-15.
In game two, Fleming-Neon or LCC won over Jenkins 88-43.
Up next, the 4-3 Letcher Central Lady Cougars will travel to Inez tonight to play at 3-1 Martin County.
The 3-2 Letcher Central Cougar boys will next play this Friday and Saturday in the BSN Borderline Classic at Whitley County.
The LCC boys will face Middlesboro Friday at 5:00pm and take on Evangel Christian Saturday at 6:00pm.
The Jenkins Lady Cavalier girls will next play at Jackson City Wednesday night at 7:00pm.
The Jenkins Cavalier boys will play KACHEA out of Kingsport TN Friday night and play at Owsley County Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm.
