A Floyd County mom and her friend face charges after deputies doing a welfare check claim they had drugs mixed in with her kids’ toys.
Deputies were reportedly called to a home in Langley to check in on the children of Kristina Blankenship who range in age from 2 to 7.
Mountain Top News reports deputies allege they found meth, fentanyl, pot and drug paraphernalia mixed in with children’s toys and they claim the kids were playing with the toys at the time.
Blankenship and a man who allegedly greeted the deputies while smoking pot, identified as Dustin Hoover, were arrested and charged with three counts of wanton endangerment and several drug charges.
