Floyd County Man Arrested for Making Federal Threats to Kill USPS Worker

Prestonsburg Police have arrested an Auxier man accused of threatening to kill a US Postal Service Employee and Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputies.

In a press release, the Police Department says Johnathan Howell is alleged to have made a direct threat to the postal worker and then shortly after got on social media to continue those threats and added threats to deputies.

Police say at the request of the United States Postal Inspector, felony warrants were issued and Howell was arrested at his home.
