A Floyd County woman’s been arrested for allegedly threatening several people with a gun, including three kids. Mountain Top News reports it happened at a home in Banner not long after police had been there on a domestic violence complaint and arrested someone. Officials allege Tara Newsome came to the home with a gun, told them they had made a mistake and allegedly threatened to kill everybody there. She took off but was caught after crashing her car. She reportedly faces six counts of wanton endangerment.
