Governor Beshear Visits Laurel County as Manhunt Continues For I-75 Shooting Suspect

With the manhunt for the I-75 shooting suspect now in its 7th day, Governor Andy Beshear has made a visit to Laurel County.

He was with state transportation officials who announced last night that Exit 49 where the shootings occurred is now open again as is KY-909.

The Governor thanked Kentucky State Police and all the searchers who have been scouring the Daniel Boone National Forest for suspect Joseph Couch with no plans to let up on the search.

The reward for information leading to Couch’s arrest is sitting at $35,000.
