A trio of Hazard Independent School District educators have been honored for their excellence in the classroom and beyond. Patrick Hall, Cindy Lindon and Paul Spare have received the Excellence in Teaching award from Campbellsville University, which since 1987 has recognized teachers across the Commonwealth. The superintendent tells WYMT they each have been teaching more than 15 years and in that time have gone above and beyond within the school system and with extracurricular activities.
