Hazard Police have arrested a man they allege tried to meet up with what he thought
was a 14-year-old girl he met online but was actually an adult decoy.
Police say they were alerted by the organization KyPredoPursuit that they had made contact with Randy Caudill of Hazard who investigators alleged had contacted the decoy more than 29 times with messages of a sexual nature even though she had identified herself as a 14-year-old girl.
When Caudill allegedly asked to meet, the decoy set a meeting at Memorial Gym where he was met by Hazard Police.
