Letcher County’s State Senator Johnnie Turner continues to recover from the lawnmower accident at his home about 10 days ago.
Turner was injured after his riding mower went into the deep end of an empty swimming pool.
Kentucky Senate President Robert Stivers told WYMT that Turner recently went through the first physical therapy assessment and is still in the ICU with some pain but is making good progress.
