The 49th annual Hillbilly Days festival is coming up from April 16 through 18.
Officials say the celebration centered in Pikeville is now the second largest festival in the state, second only to the Kentucky Derby.
Originally started by the Shriners, Hillbilly Days is now also put on by the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Pike County Tourism Commission.
